About our Vibration & Rubber Engineering Experience

ARNOT Vibration Solutions has its root in the fan industry, but has diversified with other products. We specialize in the design, manufacture and distribution to HVAC, mining, industrial, domestic, civil & construction, marine and rail markets.

Vibration Solutions is a grouping of various focused business units. These businesses are treated as independent operating business units and each unit has its fair degree of autonomy and are judged on their unit’s own achievement.

Vibration Solutions has more than 50 year’s history in working with its technology partners from around the world and has completed hundreds of substantial projects across the various markets.

The Company has decade’s worth of experience in working with technology partners and overseas OEM’s. It is currently running various cooperations, agencies and distributorships, being Applied Energy ( Xpelair and Redring ), Flaktwoods for fan products, AMC and Silentbloc for Vibration and Rubber Engineering Solution products and Ferotec Friction for friction lining material ( Dynamex ).

ACTOM has traded the Flaktwoods brand since the 1950’s and the Xpelair & Redring brands since the 1970’s. Brake lining material under the brand name Ferodo which later became Dynamex for the mining, industrial and marine markets became part of the product portfolio in the mid 1980’s. In 2005 ACTOM acquired the Vibration and Rubber Engineering Solution products under the brand name ARNOT.

ARNOT Vibration Solutions has a manufacturing and distribution facility situated in Driehoek, Germiston geared for the fabrication and assembly of a wide range of fans and ancillaries and for the distribution of products of the domestic fan range, brake lining material and anti-vibration products. It operates in accordance with ISO 9001 quality systems.
